About the In My Life Interview
When you let Digital Media Solutions create your living memory, you not only take out the guess work, hassle and many hours of preserving your story, you're also getting a professionally conducted interview that is edited and preserved at the highest quality.
Prior to the interview, we provide you with an In My Life interview questionnaire (includes 175 questions) which is divided into multiple sections that relate to different areas of someone’s life (i.e. - early childhood, grandparents, parents, holiday traditions, school days, military service, careers, historical events, marriages, children, grandchildren, travels, health, etc...). The interview questions are just suggestions. Because everyone is unique, there will be topics or questions that you’ll want to discuss that are not listed, and not all of the questions will apply to everyone. All interviews are conducted by the president of Digital Media Solutions, Inc. Eric Richter has the gift of engaging an interviewee in a way that no one else can. It's not a matter of just asking a person questions and making sure it's recorded. To get the best In My Life story, you need empathy, patience and the willingness to listen and appreciate any story that is told. Also, when you receive your completed In My Life Interview, it isn't you just sitting there talking for several hours.
